Jonathan J. Halperin

Jonathan Halperin leads diverse teams to counsel and support purpose-driven leaders committed to doing their part to make a better world. Serving companies, foundations, and nonprofits, Mr. Halperin and his team help clients manage risk and find opportunity in a rapidly changing world. He designs and manages projects to help organizations navigate the intersection of change, connection, and communication. 

Mr. Halperin founded and for 17 years led FYI Information Resources for a Changing World. A Moscow-based research, publishing, and consulting firm operating in the food, beverage, energy, water, information, and IT sectors, the firm had additional offices in St. Petersburg; Dnepropetrovsk (now Dnipro), Ukraine; and Almaty, Kazakhstan. His prior experience includes executive producing Hope in a Changing Climate, founding Priorities, Inc., running research at SustainAbility, and building the communications function at Resources for the Future. 

 Mr. Halperin is the lead author of numerous published papers, handbooks, and directories, as well as co-author of a book on the importance of perceptions in US–Soviet relations. He serves on several boards and advisory councils sharing his experience in food and agriculture, change management, philanthropy, communication, and ecosystem restoration. 

 A graduate of Duke University, Mr. Halperin has also studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University. He has lived in New York City, Moscow, and London and is currently based in Washington, DC.
